Course content
|
Lecture: 1) Skin, clinical morphology; current clinical condition of the skin; pathogenesis of skin disorders; standard diagnostic examinations, procedures, tests; principles of skin disease treatment 2) Parasitic, fungal, bacterial, viral skin diseases; nevi, benign and malignant skin tumors; erythematopapulo-squamous diseases, bullous dermatitis, acne and facial dermatoses 3) Eczema and dermatitis, drug rashes; acute and urgent care for septic conditions in dermatovenerology; specifics of skin care with skin integrity disorders 4) Venereal diseases 5) Anatomy of the eye; pathogenesis of ocular disorders 6) Standard diagnostic examinations, tests; principles of treatment of eye diseases 7) Urgent and follow-up care for patients with eye injuries Exercises: 1) Specifics of the approach to a patient diagnosed with scabies, syphilis, gonorrhea 2) Urgent and follow-up care for acute dermatovenerological diseases 3) Principles of communication in patients with visual impairment 4) Urgent and follow-up care for patients with eye injuries

|
The aim of the course is to get acquainted with the theoretical and practical issues of selected fields, to integrate the acquired knowledge in nursing care, including urgent, individual selected fields.
Students obtain knowledge in given course in accordance with requirements and course programme.

Classified credit: - 80% participation in exercises, - a written test.
