Course content
|
Language competence reading comprehension Reading techniques - skimming, selective, complex. Text paraphrasing. The students learn: - master both the language and content of a wide range of complex texts from the professional business environment, - competently comment on work and economic facts and issues, - and select essential information in long texts, randomly using a dictionary. The students learn: - express ideas and opinions fluently and spontaneously, - take an active part in longer conversations and discussions on business-related topics, - develop and explain the topic, - respond to objections, questions, comments; argue fluently, spontaneously, persuasively, comprehensively and adequately, - describe the issues, circumstances, situations and give reasons or consequences, consider both pros and cons of different solutions.

Learning outcomes
|
The objective of the seminar is to prepare students for the international certificate of professional German language - Prüfung Wirtschaftsdeutsch International (PWD), Deutsch als Fremdsprache in der Wirtschaft (WiDaF), Goethe-Zertifikat the threshold levels of C1-C2 as defined in the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR).
Students obtain knowledge in given course in accordance with requirements and course programme.

Prerequisites
|
The student should have such initial language skills that he can acquire the required language knowledge after completing the semester.
