Elementary aspects and conversation about common issues: - declension of adjectives in predicative position (2nd part) - ordinal numerals - prepositions with the dative and accusative case - inseparable and separable prefixes - conjugation of the verb "wissen" - the phrase "es gibt" - reflexive verbs - conjugation of the verb "werden" - future tense - interrogative pronouns "welcher" and "was für ein" - word order in main clauses and subordinated clauses - indefinite and negative pronouns substituting nouns - declension of adjectives after pronouns and numerals - geographic adjectives with ?er and names of the inhabitants - verbal phrases - past tense - adjectives used as nouns - relative clauses - coordinative conjunctions

- to develop and strengthen lexical and phraseological units of a general language - to develop basic language competence, mainly listening and text understanding - to develop different forms of speaking performance - discussions, presentations - systematic strengthening of a specific vocabulary Students will acquire the developed level of A1 as defined in the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR).

Students' entry level is such as to enable them to acquire the CEFR level required at the end of the semester.

Credit: - participation in seminars - completion of tests during the course of study - a fully developed oral presentation - continuous fulfilment of credit conditions based on requirements of lecturers - individual work with e-learning materials - the successful completion of the credit test.
