Tento kurz pojednává o vizuální kultuře, především kinematografii, optikou analýzy narativního filmu a teorie adaptace. Poté, co poskytuje prohlouvený úvod do narativních technik filmové tvorby, poskytuje různé přístupy k literárním adaptacím v kině, televizi a videích na sociálních sítích. Studenti získají teoretické i praktické znalosti o filmových adaptacích, které jim umožní vytvořit na konci semestru krátkou projektovou či seminární práci.
