Course content
Language competence listening comprehension Listening techniques: general, selective, complex. Text paraphrasing. The students learn: - to master receptively and productively a wide range of complex and more professionally challenging, authentically spoken and written texts in the economic field, including texts with elements of regional dialect, - observe lectures, interviews and discussions; complex interactions between speakers of a discussion, even when new subject areas are involved, - master a wide range of idiomatic expressions and expressions and use them correctly, - follow longer speeches - even if they are not clearly structured and the relationships between speakers are signalled implicitly rather than explicitly. Students learn: - express ideas and opinions fluently and spontaneously - considering particular situation; take an active part in longer conversations and discussions on business-related topics, - develop and explain the topic, respond to objections, questions, comments, - argue fluently, spontaneously, persuasively, comprehensively and adequately - describe the issues, circumstances, situations and give reasons or consequences, consider both pros and cons of different solutions.

Dialogue metods(conversation,discussion,brainstorming), Self-study (text study, reading, problematic tasks, practical tasks, experiments, research, written assignments)

Learning outcomes
The objective of the seminar is to prepare students for the international certificate of professional German language - Prüfung Wirtschaftsdeutsch International (PWD), Deutsch als Fremdsprache in der Wirtschaft (WiDaF), Goethe-Zertifikat the threshold levels of C1-C2 as defined in the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR).
Students obtain knowledge in given course in accordance with requirements and course programme.
Prerequisites
The student should have such initial language skills that he can acquire the required language knowledge after completing the semester.
