Course content
Practicing speaking, listening, reading and writing competences within the following thematic units: - introducing in the company, getting acquainted with the company environment, professional professions, job application, CV. - work x family, employment, work responsibilities and duties, working hours, company benefits. - business trips, making appointments and business trips, booking accommodation, telephone calls. - business meetings, exhibitions, trade fairs, customer meetings, social meetings. Moreover, grammar is practiced in professional texts as well.

Learning activities and teaching methods
Dialogue metods(conversation,discussion,brainstorming), Self-study (text study, reading, problematic tasks, practical tasks, experiments, research, written assignments)
  • Class attendance - 28 hours per semester
Learning outcomes
The course prepares students to communicate and act in various common situations within professional environment. The students improve their effective communication skills during business meetings, negotiations and conferences.
Students obtain knowledge in given course in accordance with requirements and course programme.
Prerequisites
The student should have such initial language skills that he can acquire the required language knowledge after completing the semester.
