Course content
topics: articles, prepositions, demonstrative pronouns, conjugation, present and present perfect tense, numerals, personal pronouns as direct and indirect object, word order, business companies.

Learning activities and teaching methods
Dialogue metods(conversation,discussion,brainstorming), Self-study (text study, reading, problematic tasks, practical tasks, experiments, research, written assignments)
  • Class attendance - 56 hours per semester
Learning outcomes
- to develop and strengthen lexical and phraseological units of a general language - to develop basic language competence, mainly listening and text understanding - to develop different forms of speaking performance - discussions, presentations - systematic strengthening of a specific business vocabulary
Students will acquire the threshold level of A1 as defined in the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.
Students entry level is such as to enable them to acquire the CEFR level required at the end of the semester.
