Course content
Seminars (topics): 1 Selection and specification of the diploma thesis topic, content of the thesis, requirements for its processing. 2 Orientation in information sources. 3 Design of the thesis structure. 4 Determination of the main and partial goals (hypotheses) of the thesis. 5 Formal editing of the thesis. 6 Citation of literature. 7 Diploma thesis processing schedule.

Learning activities and teaching methods
Self-study (text study, reading, problematic tasks, practical tasks, experiments, research, written assignments)
  • Home preparation for classes - 3 hours per semester
  • Class attendance - 28 hours per semester
Learning outcomes
The aim of the course is the systematic preparation leading to writing the diploma thesis.
Students obtain knowledge in given course in accordance with requirements and course programme. Materials preparation for diploma thesis from formal point of view.
Prerequisites
Theoretical knowledge from the area of business administration.

Assessment methods and criteria
Student's performance analysis

To obtain the credit, active cooperation with the supervisor and the consultant of the final thesis is required. Additionally, it is assumed that the schedule for submission of processed materials and participation in the introductory lecture (principles of text writing, methods of scientific work, information sources and citation ethics) will be respected.
