Course content
Microeconomics 1. Model of Perfect competition and Pareto optimum - formalized model of equilibrium - comparison of perfect competition equilibrium and Pareto optimum 2. Welfare economics in the case of market failure - market failure: solution in the case of both non-cooperative and cooperative behaviour 3. Uncertainty and asymmetric information - hidden knowledge, hidden action, hidden information Macroeconomics 1. Money demand and supply: monetary theory - Fisher and Cambridge quantitative theory - Keynes theory of money demand 2. Open economy: advanced analysis - BP curve, capital mobility and open economy equilibrium in the system of fixed exchange rate - Flexible exchange rate and BP curve - Exogenous factors and BP curve

Learning outcomes
A part of Microeconomic analysis deals with topics of advanced Microeconomics with a stress laid on application of mathematical tools in Economics.
