Course content
Current and modern approaches to artificial intelligence research. Intelligent agents, the concept of distributed intelligence. Multi-agent architecture. Formal models of distributed intelligence. Safety Issues

Learning activities and teaching methods
Monological explanation (lecture, presentation,briefing), Self-study (text study, reading, problematic tasks, practical tasks, experiments, research, written assignments)
  • Class attendance - 280 hours per semester
Learning outcomes
The aim of the course is to gain an overview of the current state of research in the field of intelligent systems and ambient intelligence. Students will become familiar with the theoretical basis for the research of the multi-agent architecture of intelligent environments, with ethical issues, security and protection of personal data and information, enabling them to further the expected direction of the research.
Students obtain knowledge in given course in accordance with requirements and course programme.
