Course content
Lectures: 1. Business Informatics - CIO and Strategic IT Management, Competence, Business-IT Relationship. 2. Management of business informatics services - SLA, application and infrastructure, qualitative and quantitative parameters, price, catalog of services. 3. Process management of IT services - ITIL and COBIT processes. 4. Event Management, Incident Management. 5. Problem Management. 6. IT change management in the context of business changes. 7. Architectural IT Management. 8. Business Continuity Management. 9. Disaster Recovery Planning. 10. Outsourcing in IT. 11. Relationship management with suppliers. 12. Business Case - Benefits of IS / ICT. 13. Balanced Scorecard, Total Cost of Ownership. 14. Problems of IS / ICT traffic management in large enterprises vs. problems in small and medium-sized organizations. Seminars: Students prepare and present selected topics in teams at seminars. 1. Getting acquainted with the requirements for a semester project. Selection of a specific topic that the team will process during the semester. 2. Analyze the default status of the specified system problem. Identify system weaknesses. 3. Conceptual design of solving the systemic problem. 4. Design of process implementation implementation. 5. Analysis of the risks associated with the implementation of the system solution. 6. Consultation of projects. 7. Final presentation of semestral projects.

Learning outcomes
The subject acquaints students with various aspects of ICT management in organizations and with the implementation of models, tools and techniques for effective management of information in the organization. At the same time, students will acquaint themselves with certified ICT management methodologies (ITIL, COBIT).
