Course content
Methods of exploratory data analysis Data visualization Basic principles and architectture of accounting Spectral analysis Operational research Mathematical programming and its application Multicriterial analysis Mathematical modelling

Learning activities and teaching methods
Monological explanation (lecture, presentation,briefing), Self-study (text study, reading, problematic tasks, practical tasks, experiments, research, written assignments)
  • Class attendance - 280 hours per semester
Learning outcomes
Students will be acquainted with analytical tools for data received from information systems in business (both macro and micro-economy). The methods of data collection mentioned in lessons will follow the norms of the European Union. Lectured methods include exploratory data analysis, statistical analysis and economic time series prognoses, operations (operational) research, multi-criteria decision-making, and data envelope analysis.
Students obtain knowledge in given course in accordance with requirements and course programme.
