Course content

Main parts: 1. Contract of purchase in international business, term, legal forms, establishment. Type, quantity. Delivery date, firm strategy within purchase and sale supplies. Price, connection with other activities, risks. Delivery parity. Paying condition, place, time, documentary inkaso, documentary letter of credit, cheques, bills. 2. Special business operations. Bursa operations, commodit bursa, specifics of business, types of bursa activities. Auction´s operations, auction, process of auction. Barter, reexport, junktime, switch, offset. 3. Financing in international business. Importance and risks for saler and purchaser. Services of financial institutions for exporters. Customer credit. Factoring, forfaiting, leasing.

Learning outcomes
|
The aim of this subject is to acquaint students with practical realization of international business negotiations and their specifics. The focus is placed on risks conected with international business and possibilities of their limitation.
Students obtain knowledge in given course in accordance with requirements and course programme.
