Seminar topics 1. Balancing in logistics systems. 2. Distribution warehouse balance. 3. Analysis of orders in distribution warehouse, typical order. 4. Analysis of distribution channel behavior. 5. XYZ analysis, turnover of inventory, determination of purchasing efficiency. 6. ABC analysis - turnover and frequency of the occurrence of items in orders. 7. Warehouse layout design. 8. Spreadsheet simulation of a storage system - resources requirements, sensitivity analysis.

Learning outcomes
|
The aim of the course is to introduce students to the design of logistics systems. Students will be introduced to the methods and techniques used in this process. The individual steps will be demonstrated with practical examples in MS Excel.
Students obtain knowledge in given course in accordance with requirements and course programme.
