Course content
Lectures (topics): 1. How to work with an idea (idea - business model - business plan). How to solve the problem by using the form of project management and how to set the project. 2. How to start your business. Comparison between entrepreneur and employee activities. 3. How to build a team, how to manage it. How to become a valuable part of the team, what is the role of a team member. 4. How to conduct business meetings, how to deal with a foreigner. 5. How to present yourself and your business plan. Seminars (themes): 1. Creation of teams. Belbin's team role test. Teambuilding activities. 2. Getting to know the Business Canvas concept. 3. Definitions of the target customer (SWOT analysis, Porter model of five forces, PESTLE) 4. Marketing strategy and distribution channels. 5. Planning the sources of the business plan (outsourcing services, human resources, material, etc.) 6. Cost analysis of the project, estimate of the project's financial security. 7. Design and realization of company identity. 8. Formulation of provisional implementation schedule. 9. Getting to know the structure of the business plan and its subsequent implementation. 10. Finalizing a business plan and preparing a presentation for the so-called start-up pitch (short defense before investors).

Learning outcomes
The course aims to equip students with the necessary knowledge and competences to successfully manage the transition of graduates into business practice. The course provides a basic understanding of business, strengthening the skills of independent solution to tasks and problems, leading to the use of project solutions and processing activities. The idea is developed into a simple business model, adequate team is built and the identity of the company is determined, together with the target customer and distribution channels. What is emphasized is the team management skills and the importance of individual roles on the team, ability to conduct business negotiations, overcome intercultural differences, give presentations and defend their own thoughts.

Exam: Teamwork in the prescribed form and scope, its presentation and defense, answering questions.
