Course content
1. Risk - pure and purpose risk; subjective and objektive risk, risks in life of people and in economics. Different views on risk classification. Meaning of "Global Risk Report". 2. Risk management, his essence, phase, solving of existence risks on the basic of the principles risk management. Risk management in the context of business practice. ISO 31000 and ISO 31010. 3. Insurance - essence, as financial category, as financial services, part of financial market. 4. Social insurance - basic koncept and essence, role of social insurance, financing, organization and financing individuem component of social insurance in the Czech Republic. 5. Private insurance - basic concept, classification, party to the insurance relations, insurance policy and insurance clauses, term of insurance, period of insurance, premium, insurance benefit, hazard insurance and reserve making insurance. 6. Insurable interest, form of insurance, amouting insurance and indemnity bond, supplementing form of insurance, application of this form, concrete calculation of amount of insurance benefit. 7. Premium, part of structure of premium, general access to the fixing amount of net premium, bonus and extra premium, administrative expenses of insurance company - their structure and importance. 8. Life insurance, basic characteristics, konstruction of basic form. Life Insurance in the Czech Republic. Philosophy of access to the fixing amount of net premium in the life insurance. 9. Pension insurance (additional pension savings); role and structure of supplementary pension schemes in general and in the Czech Republic. Government's approach to this area. 10.-11. Non-life insurance, basic characteristics, konstruction of basic form (accident insurance, property insurance, liability insurance, etc.). 12. Philosophy of access to the fixing amount of risk net premium in the non-life insurance. 13. Economic activity of insurance company - basic characteristics, actuarial reserves, reinsurance, etc. Methods of detecting financial health of insurance. 14. Insurance industry, structure of insurance industry, basic access to regulation of the insurance industry on the part of state. The current development of insurance markets.

Learning outcomes
Introduction to professional insurance problems, familiarization with notions used in the study of insurance management, basic principles of insurance functioning as economics category and financial service, inform with basic resemblance of insurance, especially private insurance and clearing contextures onto other economic category.
Students obtain knowledge in given course in accordance with requirements and course programme.
Prerequisites
Basic knowledge of insurance issues.

Written exam
