Course content
Dynamic system, mathematical model, linearization, identification, static and dynamic characteristics, state space description, numerical simulation - properties and practice, transfer function as analytical tool, frequency analyses, stability tests, feedback control loop, on/off and three positions control, PID controller, methods of optimization PID parameters, numerical control loop.

Monological explanation (lecture, presentation,briefing), Laboratory work
  • Class attendance - 56 hours per semester
Learning outcomes
Extension of theoretical and practical skills focused on analysis and simulation of linear dynamical systems response, especially for typical technological control loops. The usual applications in industry are discussed.
Students will acquire the basic concepts of the control engineering and summary view in application of control loops in industry.
