Learning activities and teaching methods
Monological explanation (lecture, presentation, briefing), Laboratory work
Learning outcomes
The course introduces students to advanced methods and instruments for electrical measurements of physical quantities and physical fields. The content is focused on measurement tasks with high dynamics and accuracy, multichannel synchronous measurements and unconventional methods of measurement and technical signal processing. Practical measurement examples based on engineering tasks are presented at the lectures. Modern measurement technology and special laboratory facilities are utilized.
The student becomes acquainted with advanced methods and modern technologies for electrical measurement of physical quantities and physical fields used in technical practice.
Prerequisites
Knowledge of mathematics, physics, mechanics, electrical engineering, electronics and measurement of electric and non-electrical quantities.

Assessment methods and criteria
Combined examination

Active attendance at tutorials, report elaboration for all laboratory experiments, getting a credit and passing an examination.
