Learning outcomes
|
Features of Unix-like operating systems with emphasis on security issues and mechanization of routine tasks. Providing secure access, passwords, file access rights, basic features of Unix text utilities and the methods of their combining, network security.
Students will acquire basic knowledge of the operating systems features. They will familiarize with basic concepts of work with Unix type OS.

Requirements for getting a credit are activity at the practicals /seminars and subsciption to e-learning for each seminar. Examination is of the written and oral forms.
