Course content
|
1. Understand contemporary artistic trends and interdisciplinary approaches. 2. Are familiar with various imaging technologies and their potential in artistic creation. 3. Is familiar with the theoretical foundations of artistic practice and discourse on contemporary society. 4. Understands the importance of conceptual formulation of artistic intentions. 5. Recognizes the connection between theory and practice in the context of contemporary art. 1. Develop their own creative potential and individual artistic expression. 2. Experiments with new technologies and media within the framework of artistic creation. 3. Critically reflects on and discusses their own work as well as the work of others in the professional art scene. 4. Formulates and presents their own artistic concepts and intentions. 5. Actively utilizes individual and group consultations to develop their work.

Learning outcomes
|
Art projects are part of the curriculum in the master?s program. Under the guidance of a faculty member, students focus on developing their own creative potential and deepening their individual artistic expression. The studio provides an inspiring environment for experimenting with new imaging technologies, contemporary artistic trends, and interdisciplinary approaches. The course fosters critical thinking and reflection on contemporary society through ongoing discourse on artistic practice. Emphasis is placed on integrating theoretical knowledge with practical skills and developing the ability to conceptually articulate one?s own artistic intentions within the context of contemporary art. Instruction is based on individual and group consultations, an experimental approach to media and technologies, and active engagement with the professional art scene. The aim of the course is to prepare students for independent creative work and to strengthen their position in the professional art world.
Students: 1. Independently plan and carry out creative projects in the field of visual arts. 2. Integrates theoretical knowledge into practical artistic activity. 3. Communicates and collaborates with the professional art community. 4. Maintains an open and critical approach to their own work and its social context. 5. Prepares for a professional career in the artistic field with respect for ethics and responsibility. Student gains practical experiences with preparation and realization of art projects in connection to VA 1-9
