Content 1. Planning the Bachelor thesis. 2. Principles of academic writing. 3. Supervision of the student developing the Bachelor thesis. 4. Consultations with the thesis supervisor. 5. Citation ethics.

Learning outcomes
|
The aim of the course is to acquaint students with the drafting process of the bachelor thesis, standards and formal requirements (ČSN ISO 690, ČSN ISO 5966, Dean's directives), according to which the bachelor thesis is processed. The basic rules for processing scientific texts are explained, and students get informed about the content and formal requirements of the final thesis.
Students obtain knowledge in given course in accordance with requirements and course programme.

Assessment methods and criteria
|
Student's performance analysis
Active cooperation with competent department. Written proposal of 1/3 bachelor project, including proposal of power point presentation. Public defence. Credit.
