Risk management as a specific science discipline. 5. Qualitative approach to dealing with risks. 6. Quantitative approach to dealing with risks I. 7. Quantitative approach to dealing with risks II. 8. Property insurance products for business and enterprises. 9. Technical risks. Related specific products of business and enterprises insurance. 10. Specific insurance products of industry and business risks II. 11. Business interruption insurance. Credit insurance. 12. Fundamentals of insurance law. 13. The role of the state in covering business and enterprises risks. Seminars (topics): 1. Semestral projects assignment, selection of research goals. 2. Czech insurance market in terms of global problems. 3. Methods of risk assessment. 4. Consultations on semestral projects, comments on methodology. 5. Current issues of insurance markets. 6. Discussion with an expert. 7. Semestral project presentations and discussion on the researched goal.

Learning outcomes
|
The aim of the subject is to introduce students to the possibilities of managing risks not only in SMEs, but also in big corporations. Students should be able to analyse risk situations in an enterprise and should suggest possible solutions for decreasing or eliminating the risks.
Students obtain knowledge in given course in accordance with requirements and course programme.
