The course is focused on the Matlab programming language. Lectures 1) The syntax of the Matlab language, basic commands, variables 2) Matlab scripts and functions, data types, vectorization 3) Symbolic computations 4) Visualizations (2D, 3D) 5) Optimizations 6) Programming graphical user interfaces 7) Parallel computing Cvičení 1-2) Basic operations in Matlab 3-4) Programming in Matlab 5-6) Analytical solutions of mathematical problems 7-8) Visualizations using plot, plot3, and mesh 9-10) Using methods to find extremes of (multivariate) functions, mathematical programming 11-12) Programming of GUI is Matlab - development of an application 13-14) Utilization of Parallel Computing Toolbox

The course is focused on the fundamentals of the Matlab programming language, on the programming of scripts and functions, and on the utilization of basic and of some advanced tools of Matlab.
