Course content
Selected topics of lectures: Introduction to I4.0 and IOT, Internet of Things, Internet of People - definition of terms, definitions. Cyber-physical systems - division, 5C architecture. Digitalization, data sharing, trends in IIOT. I4.0 resources - Smart manufacturing / logistics / cities /. Overview of "wired" and wireless information transfer technologies for I4 and IOT WLAN local wireless data transmission technologies (BT5, WiFi 6,...).

Learning outcomes
The aim of the course is to introduce the student to IoT technology and bacis parts of IoT. It also introduces the issues in IoT deployment such as security, deployment in real life applications of smart home management, surveillance and ?smart home? systems.
