Course content
Chemical processes on material surface, basics of colloid chemistry. Chemical modifications of material surface. Preparation of thin layers by chemical way. Chemical aspects of physical and physico-chemical procedures for thin layer preparation.

Learning activities and teaching methods
Monological explanation (lecture, presentation,briefing)
  • Class attendance - 28 hours per semester
  • Home preparation for classes - 10 hours per semester
  • Preparation for exam - 80 hours per semester
Learning outcomes
Master: Chemical processes on material surface, basics of colloid chemistry. Chemical modifications of material surface. Preparation of thin layers by chemical way. Chemical aspects of physical and physico-chemical procedures for thin layer preparation.
To explain and deduce basic knowledge on field, including simpler problem solving. To work practically and safely in chemistry lab.
