Course content
|
Principles of technological production of the most important compounds. Survey of simple equipments used in chemical technology. Constructional materials and their availability in chemical technology. Raw materials, processing technology, properties and use of basic products of inorganic and organic chemical industry. Part of the course is an excursion to selected operations (brewery, wastewater treatment plant, glassworks).

Learning outcomes
|
At the end of this course, the student will understand the principles of industrial production of the most important substances. He/she will have information about simple technological production equipment and apparatus, construction materials and their usability in individual productions.
To know basic principles of chemical technology. To explain and deduce basic knowledge on field, including simpler problem solving.
