Course content
Electroanalytical methods. Potentiometry. Voltametry and polarography. Electrogravimetry and coulometry.Conductometry. Optical methods. Refraktometry, interferometry, polarimetry. AES. AAS. UV, VIS spectrometry. IR spectrometry.Theoretical principles, instrumentation and analytical application of these methods.

Monological explanation (lecture, presentation,briefing)
  • Class attendance - 42 hours per semester
  • Home preparation for classes - 20 hours per semester
  • Preparation for exam - 50 hours per semester
Learning outcomes
Master the following methods. Electroanalytical methods: potentiometry, voltammetry and polarography, electrogravimetry and coulometry, conductometry. Optical methods: refractometry, interferometry, polarimetry, atomic emission and atomic absorption spectrometry, UV and VIS spectrometry, infrared spectrometry. Principles, instrumentation and analytical applications of these methods.
To explain and deduce basic knowledge on field, including simpler problem solving. To work practically and safely in chemistry lab.

knowledge of high school chemistry

100% attendance, elaborated and defended protocols for every exercise, knowledge of Physical chemistry
