Course content
Preparation of semiconductor nanostructures and principles of preparation methods

Learning activities and teaching methods
Monological explanation (lecture, presentation,briefing)
  • Class attendance - 28 hours per semester
  • Preparation for exam - 80 hours per semester
Learning outcomes
To acquire basic knowledge about semiconductor nanostructures
To choose an appropriate method for the preparation of semiconductor nanostructures based on the requirements. Basic knowledge on field including skills.
Prerequisites
Knowledge of high school chemistry and physics, passing one of the following subjects: Quantum mechanics I; Quantum physics of solids; Metamaterials; Physics of solids; Semiconductor materials and elements.

Assessment methods and criteria
Combined examination

Working-out and defence of presentation on topic given by lecturer.
