Course content
1. Physico-chemical properties of materials. 2. Characterization methods of nanoparticles. 3. Evaluation of nanomaterials exposition regarding to human and environment. 4. Health risks. 5 - 6. Charaterization methods, exposure and action of nanomaterials. 7. Effect of nanomaterials on human health 8. Effect of nanomaterials on environment. 9. Nanoparticles in atmosphere. 10. Inhaled particles - potentials effects and mechanisms. 11. Cuticular penetration of nanoparticles. 12. Nanoparticles monitoring at workplace. 13. Evaluation of anomaterials risks - carbon nanotubes, fullerenes. 14. Risks and dangers of nanomaterials - anticipatory expectations.

Learning activities and teaching methods
Monological explanation (lecture, presentation,briefing)
  • Class attendance - 20 hours per semester
  • Semestral paper - 10 hours per semester

Properties of materials, research methods, exposition of nanomaterials in thr environment, effect on health, effect on environment, cuticular penetration, monitoring, nanotubes, fullerenes, risks and dangers, forecasts
Nanomaterial evaluation methods, effect of nanomaterials on health, effect on environment, interaction mechanisms of nanomaterials with environment, potential risks
