Course content
Topics: : preparing for a job interview - an elevator pitch : recent developments in the IT field. Computer specials. Cybercrime, information systems and communication, data protection, big data. : IoT, intelligent houses : Augmented Reality (AR) and Virtual Reality (VR) : Industrial robots - Automation and robotics. AI. : Machine learning. : Electronics (e.g. digital circuits and equipment, design of programmable circuits,control systems and sensors, circuit boards etc.) : Modern logistic trends, warehouse management system (WMS)

Learning activities and teaching methods
Dialogue metods(conversation,discussion,brainstorming), Self-study (text study, reading, problematic tasks, practical tasks, experiments, research, written assignments)
  • Class attendance - 28 hours per semester
Learning outcomes
- to develop and strengthen lexical and phraseological units of the general language - to develop basic language competence, mainly listening and text comprehension - to develop different forms of the spoken performance - discussions, presentations - to initiate systematic strengthening of the specific vocabulary
Students will acquire the B1 - B2 level as defined in the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.
Prerequisites
Students entry level is such as to enable them to acquire the CEFR level required at the end of the semester.

- participation in seminars - the successful completion of a test during the course of study - a fully developed oral presentation - the successful completion of an oral credit interview
