Course content
Topics of lectures 1. Financing in international trade. The importance and risks for the seller and buyer. Services for exporters financial institutions. Banking and non-banking financing instruments suppliers and customers. Factoring, forfaiting, leasing. 2. International transport of goods. Entities and legal regulation of relations in international transport. Characteristics of different types of transport, rationalization of transportation systems, the operation of international organizations in various types of transports, used documents. 3. Control and storage operations. The importance of control and certification for international trade in tangible commodities, contractual arrangements, inspection companies, inspection certificates. Place of storage operations in international trade in goods, types of stores, contractual arrangements, documents. 4. Insurance for international trade. Insurance institutions and insurance policies, types of insurance in international trade. Insurance of international transport of goods, ranges of insurance, insurance terms, Claims, used documents. Export credit insurance, the importance of government support for export insurance. English insurance practices. 5. Customs. Intra EU trade and extrakomunitární. Legal standards and national community. Basic concepts of the Customs Code. Duty, types of tariffs, customs debt. Customs value, methods of determining proof. Customs-approved treatment, customs procedures, characteristics and application in practice. Common Customs Tariff. Origin, destination and proving documents, preferential and non-preferential EU system. Customs procedures, course documents. Electronized and harmonized customs procedures in the EU.

Learning outcomes
The aim is to acquaint students with practical realization of accompanying business operations and their importance for realization of international trade with goods; to inform about actual legal norms in the CR dealing with customs, to show how they are used in business practice.
Students obtain knowledge in given course in accordance with requirements and course programme.
