The aim of the course is provide to students in textile fields the basic knowledge of organic chemistry, enabling them to understand nomenclature, chemical formulas, and the properties of fundamental functional groups, as well as to recognize common organic substances. The course exercises are designed to apply the student's general knowledge to specific theoretical problems and are conducted in the form of assisted problem-solving (particularly in the areas of nomenclature and a more detailed explanation of reaction mechanisms for selected reactions). A regular follow-up seminar offers students the opportunity to review or gain a more detailed understanding based on questions and suggestions submitted by the students.
Student acquire knowledges of subject.
