Learning outcomes
|
The first part of the course is devoted to describing the basic bus service and modern peripherals. Students are familiarized with the most commonly used circuits and modules in conjunction with microcontrollers. In the laboratory, students programmed a custom application on a real microcontroller (ARM or MIPS architecture) and measure their properties. In the second part of the semester is devoted to modern communication systems, especially focusing on intelligent buildings, global navigation satellite systems, wireless identification systems, and so on.
Students will acquire the problems of private and public communication networks, especially radio and phone ones, partly also with Internet.
