Topics for lectures: - The life cycle of the application. - Hardware support ?introduction to the real time. - The event and the response. - Inter-process and network-based communication. Practices: The subject is practice-oriented and the main focus is to the practical realization of selected tasks. This approach allowssupporting and highlightingthe expected outline form the course ?the knowledge in using the Labview.

Learning outcomes

The course introduces to students the problematic ofdeveloping embedded control and monitoring systems to design smart machines or industrial equipment. Students will be able to translate embedded system requirements into scalable software architecture, choose appropriate methods for inter-process and network-based communicationanddesign a real-time application.
