Learning outcomes
The course introduces the principles of UNIX operating system, its interface, philosophy and derived systems (Linux and others). Students will learn about files handling, permissions, file system, kernel of operating system, processes and with network and graphics subsystems too.
Students will get familiar with operating system Unix. During the course they will gain principles and practical skills.

Combined examination

Requirements for getting a credit are activity at the practicals /seminars and successful passing the tests. Examination is of the written and oral forms.
