Learning outcomes
|
The course aims to enable students to expand their theoretical and practical competencies throughout their university studies. It focuses not only on national security and defense but also on developing competencies in crisis management, stress mitigation, strategic planning, and individual decision-making processes. Students can apply these skills both in their academic pursuits and future professional careers. Furthermore, the course seeks to recognize and credit students' voluntary initiatives that strengthen the defense capabilities of the Czech Republic, such as joining the Active Reserve of the Armed Forces of the Czech Republic. This participation presupposes the successful completion of the Basic Training Course (KZP) or Voluntary Military Training (DVC) at the Training Command Military Academy in Vyškov. These programs are primarily structured for university students and academic staff, typically taking place during the summer recess to avoid scheduling conflicts with the standard academic semesters.
