Course content
Lectures: 1. Vector space, scalar product. Affinity space. 2. Digital space. 3. Flat curves. Tangent, normal and crooked. 4. Special flat curves. 5. Spatial curves, a passing triangle. 6. Areas in space. 7. Curves in the digital space. 8. Screening methods. 9. Movement of objects and observers. 10. Projecting curves. 11. Desktop View 12. Object visibility 13. Optical effects used to display objects 14. Reserve Practice: Exercise content matches lectures - students practice lecture themes by solving practical tasks. ----- The range of attendance/lessons for extra-mural study: Seminars: 12 hours/semester

Learning outcomes
The course introduces students with basic 2D and 3D computer graphic algorithms. The course begins by simple 2D algorithms like the line and the circle and follows to complicated ones like planar and perspection projections, transformation matrixs and so on.
Students will acquire the basic concepts of the application of computer graphics and the will be able to create simple multimedia presentations in Blender, Gimp and Inkscape.
