Course content
Introduction to the musculoskeletal system, muscular system and control of these systems. Lectures: 1. Introduction to anatomy, structure of the human body 2. Locomotor system I. - bones, joints 3. Locomotor system II. - muscles 4. General neuroanatomy 5. Peripheral nervous system 6. Central nervous system 7. Functional and topographic anatomy Exercises: 1. Spine, chest, skull, structure and joints of the upper limb 2. Structure and connection of lower limb, head, neck, abdomen, back and chest muscles 3. Muscles of upper limb and lower limb 4. General neuroanatomy 5. Nervous system I. 6. Nervous system II. 7. Credit test

Learning activities and teaching methods
Monological explanation (lecture, presentation,briefing), Self-study (text study, reading, problematic tasks, practical tasks, experiments, research, written assignments)
  • Class attendance - 28 hours per semester
  • Preparation for credit - 40 hours per semester
Learning outcomes
The aim of the course is to acquaint students with the musculoskeletal system, muscular system and control of these systems.
Students gain expertise on the locomotor system (osteology, arthrologie, myology) and nervous system.
Prerequisites
Knowledge of secondary school human biology

Assessment methods and criteria
Written exam, Test

Participation at the seminars, continuous tests, credit test.
