Course content
|
The purpose of this course is to acquaint students with the processing of plant and animal material in order to create a collection. 1. Herbarium creation It will include collection, correct pressing, methods of storing the material on paper and correct description (ie systematic classification) of collection items according to standard rules. The collection of plant material will take place in the immediate vicinity of the university and will use local resources. 2. Creation of a zoological collection It will include the capture (hunting) of selected invertebrates, their proper preparation, description according to standard rules, placement in collection boxes. Attention will be paid to the capture of day and night butterflies, commonly available insects (fly, ant, bee, beetles,?). The capture (hunting) of animals will take place in the vicinity of the university and will use local resources.
