Course content
1. Maintenance, culture and fixation solutions (saline, Ringer's solution, Baker's solution, Tyrod's solution, Locke's solution, glutaraldehyde solution) 2. Vital dyes (Janus green B, neutral red, methylene blue) and their use to highlight certain structures 3. Dry coatings (study of wild protozoa in brine), wet coatings (cytological study of protozoa), silvering of protozoa according to Klein 4. Hematological methods - panoptic staining by Pappenheim method 5.-7. Permanent preparations (animal tissues) - tissue collection, fixation, washing fixation, pouring into various media, creation of sections - microtome, dewaxing, staining, installation of the preparation 8. Preparation of tissue sections by gentle embedding in paraffin while maintaining enzymatic activity 9. Histochemical and cytochemical methods (Feuglen reaction, staining with methylene green, azocoupling methods - demonstration of enzyme activity) 10. Staining of yeast and cells from the swab of the buccal mucosa 11. Creation of native and permanent leaf skin preparation, wood microtechnics - preparation of preparations (only in the theoretical level), microscopy of permanent wood preparations 12. Gram staining of bacteria - formation of permanent preparations of G + and G- bacteria, soil bacteria 13. Credits - creating your own permanent preparation of your choice 14. Credits - creating your own permanent preparation of your choice

The aim of the course is to acquaint students in more detail with the methods of creating biological preparations (animal, plant, bacterial).
