Course content

Field lessons of selected areas focusing on geology, zoology, botany and other natural sciences. Day 1: Ještěd ridge Day 2: Profile through the Lužický zlom (Rychnov near Jablonec nad Nisou, Hodkovice nad Mohelkou, Jeřmanice) - location of wolframite and cassiterite Day 3: Circuit through the Jizerské Mountains (peat bog, PLA), Desná - Hejnice - Frýdlant v Čechách Day 4: Lusatian Mountains - Czech-Saxon Switzerland (sandstone, volcanoes) Day 5: Turnov - Rovensko pod Troskami (quarry Doubravice)
