Course content
1. Basics of systematics (taxonomy, binomial nomenclature and phylogeny, phylogenetic trees). 2. Protozoa (biology, anatomy and morphology, system and significant representatives). 3. Diblastica (Placozoa), Porifera, Cnidaria, Ctenophora (biology, anatomy and morphology, system and important representatives). 4. Protostomia - Lophotrochozoa (Platyhelminthes) and Ecdysozoa (Nematoda); (biology, anatomy and morphology, system and significant representatives). 5. Protostomia - Lophotrochozoa (Annelids (Annelida)) and Mollusca (Mollusca)); (biology, anatomy and morphology, system and significant representatives). 6. Protostomia - Ecdysozoa (Anthropoda); Spiders and Crustaceans (biology, anatomy and morphology, system and significant representatives). 7. Protostomia - Ecdysozoa (Anthropoda); Insects I (biology, anatomy and morphology, system and significant representatives). 8. Protostomia - Ecdysozoa (Anthropoda); Insects II (beetles and butterflies); (biology, anatomy and morphology, system and significant representatives). 9. Deuterostomia - Echinoderms (Echinodermata), Semichordates (Hemichordata) and Chordata (biology, anatomy and morphology, system and important representatives). 10. Vertebrates (Vertebarata) - Roundmouths, Fish and Fish (biology, anatomy and morphology, system and important representatives). 11. Vertebrates (Vertebarata) - Amphibians and reptiles (biology, anatomy and morphology, system and important representatives). 12. Vertebrates (Vertebarata) - Birds (biology, anatomy and morphology, system and important representatives). 13. Vertebrates (Vertebarata) - Mammals (biology, anatomy and morphology, system and important representatives). 14. Ethology and ecology.
