Course content
Principles of technological production of the most important compounds. Survey of simple equipments used in chemical technology. Constructional materials and their availability in chemical technology. Basic calculations in chemical technology. Raw materials, processing technology, properties and use of basic products of inorganic and organic chemical industry.

Learning activities and teaching methods
Monological explanation (lecture, presentation,briefing)
  • Class attendance - 28 hours per semester
  • Semestral paper - 12 hours per semester
  • Preparation for credit - 20 hours per semester
Learning outcomes
Master: Raw materials, processing technology, properties and use of basic products of inorganic and organic chemical industry.
To know basic principles of chemical technology. To explain and deduce basic knowledge on field, including simpler problem solving.
Prerequisites
knowledge of high school chemistry
