Learning outcomes
The aim of the course is independent creative and research activity in solving the topic of the diploma thesis. After completing the course Project for DP1 and specifying the assignment of the diploma thesis, the student will prepare an introduction, research part of the diploma thesis under the guidance of the thesis supervisor and possible consultants, design an experiment and perform the first experiments with sample production and measurement of their properties. An important part of the work on this project is to determine the goal of the thesis as a bioengineering problem, ie the development of a "new" material with properties optimal for the given application and verification of the achieved goal through testing the properties of laboratory-produced material samples, including in vitro tests in the tissue engineering laboratory. During the work on this project, the student presents and consults the results of his work with the thesis supervisor.
