Course content

The course deals with the theory of proper names, relations of the general lexis and proper names (anthroponyms, toponyms and propria denoting objects) and with etymology. Most important Czech onomastic compendia are discussed. Attention will be paid to the development in onomastics, to changes in toponyms in Liberec region in particular.
