Course content
The course aims at the essential concepts of a regional literature and its relations to the national literature. Key topics: A concept of a region in the viewpoint of history. The relationn of the literature and the folklore. Specifics of a regional literature, its goals and tasks. Popularity of the regional literature among readers, genius loci.

Learning activities and teaching methods
Monological explanation (lecture, presentation,briefing), Dialogue metods(conversation,discussion,brainstorming), Self-study (text study, reading, problematic tasks, practical tasks, experiments, research, written assignments)
