Course content

The lectures aim at the essential theoretical concepts and notions of thinking about literature and its analyses. Key topics: Fields and branches of the theory of literature. A work of literature as an act of communication. The aesthetic function in the literature. Narratology and versology. The diversity of theoretical and methodological approaches.

Monological explanation (lecture, presentation,briefing), Dialogue metods(conversation,discussion,brainstorming), Self-study (text study, reading, problematic tasks, practical tasks, experiments, research, written assignments)
