Course content
|
The course presents diverse explanatory approaches towards poetic and prosaic texts (of modern Czech literature) and methods of their interpretation. The stress is put on the concept of meaning in a work of a literature.

Monological explanation (lecture, presentation,briefing), Dialogue metods(conversation,discussion,brainstorming), Self-study (text study, reading, problematic tasks, practical tasks, experiments, research, written assignments)

The tutorial is related to mandatory course Literature for children and youth. It focuses at the development of critical thinking on the literary works in question (in essays, reviews, digests and historical overviews) in both older and contemporary periodicals.
