Course content
The lectures present an overview of the history of Czech language from the disintegration of Proto-Slavonic until the early 19th century codification. Attention is paid to the impact of the language history on the contemporary language situation. In the seminar, the students read and analyse texts of the period of the 14th - 19th centuries.

Monological explanation (lecture, presentation,briefing), Dialogue metods(conversation,discussion,brainstorming), Self-study (text study, reading, problematic tasks, practical tasks, experiments, research, written assignments)
