Course content
The course concentrates at the essential problems of presentation and teaching of Czech as a foreign (second) language. Attention is paid to the relations of the initial and the target language, role of grammar instruction and typology of exercises. The most popular textbooks as well as the Common European Framework of Reference (levels A1 - B2) will be discussed.

Learning activities and teaching methods
Monological explanation (lecture, presentation,briefing), Dialogue metods(conversation,discussion,brainstorming), Self-study (text study, reading, problematic tasks, practical tasks, experiments, research, written assignments)
